About WAATPN
The Wisconsin African American Tobacco Prevention Network (WAATPN) is dedicated to supporting African American communities in eliminating tobacco related health disparities and addressing unequal marketing practices of corporate tobacco companies.
Central to the WAATPN is its community of volunteers; made up of concerned citizens, faith-based organizations and social service agencies who support the Network in addressing the unequal marketing practices of corporate tobacco companies.
The WAATPN is funded by Wisconsin Tobacco Prevention and Control Program (TPCP) of the Department of Health Services and is convened by Jump at the Sun Consultants, LLC. The Salvation Army of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan is its fiscal agent.
WAATPN is being implemented through Jump at the Sun Consultants, LLC (JATSC) with Jewish Family Services as the fiscal agency.
